What every graduation invite needs
- The graduate's name, the school, and the degree or year if you like.
- Date, start time and end time. Most graduation parties are open houses, and "2 to 6" tells people they can drop in.
- The address. If parking is tight on a party weekend, say where to park.
- Who's hosting: the parents, the graduate, two families together.
- Food: full meal, snacks and cake, or a BBQ. Guests plan around it.
- Gifts, if you want to say anything. "Your presence is the present" or a note about a fund both work.
- How to reply and by when.
If the ceremony is the same day, put the party time in bold and leave the ceremony details for the family.
