Questions people ask

Is the event sign-up page free?
Yes. Creating the page, sharing the link, and collecting sign-ups is free, with no limit on how many people reply. The only paid part is optional: removing the small joinmyevent.co credit from the invitation card and exporting your list as a CSV, which is a one-time $2.99 per event.
Do people need an account to sign up?
No. They open your link, type their name, and tap yes or no. There is no password, no app to install, and nothing to confirm by email.
Can I see who signed up?
Yes, with a free account. Every reply shows up on your dashboard as it comes in, with a live headcount. You decide whether guests can see the list too or only you.
Can I ask questions when people sign up?
Yes, with a free account. Add questions like dietary needs, a phone number for the day, or which session someone wants to join. The answers appear next to each name.
Can people bring someone along?
Yes. Guests can add the names of the people they are bringing, and those plus-ones count toward your headcount automatically. You can turn this off per event.
Can I export the sign-up list?
Yes, as a CSV file for a caterer, a venue, or your own spreadsheet. Export is part of the $2.99 per-event unlock and included in the Host Pass.
Can I limit the number of spots?
Not yet. You see the count live and can close the link at any time by setting an end date, but there is no automatic cap at the moment.
Can I message everyone who signed up?
Yes, with a free account. Post an update and it shows on the page for everyone who replied, for example a room change or a reminder to bring something.
