What every birthday invite needs
- Who's celebrating and which birthday, if you want to say.
- Date, start time, and an end time if the venue closes or the kids need picking up.
- The address. For a restaurant, the name and street, since guests will search it.
- Whether partners and plus-ones are welcome.
- Food and drinks: provided, potluck, or "we'll split the bill".
- Gifts, if you have a wish. "No gifts, just come" saves everyone a trip.
- How to RSVP and by when.
The reply-by date is the line that turns "sounds fun" into a number you can cook for.
RSVP lines that get answers
- "Reply by May 10 so I know how much food to make."
- "Let me know by the 8th, the table is booked for a fixed number."
- "Tap the link to say yes or no. Ten seconds, no account."
- "Reply with names, partners included, so everyone has a seat."
Name a date, say why you need it, and make replying a single tap.
Sending it
Most birthday invites go out as a picture in a group chat. The picture gets hearts, and hearts don't tell you how many chairs to borrow.
Use the free birthday invitation maker to start with a garden party or birthday dinner example. Edit the card, then choose "Get an RSVP link" and confirm the event details. Share that link so guests can reply with their name and plus-ones. Guests need no account. If plans change, they can update their response using their private edit link.
If you already have a card and only need the replies, the birthday RSVP page does that part.
Happy birthday to whoever it is :)
